Declan Palmer is an alternative pop artist, producer, and songwriter from Santa Cruz, California. Palmer has built a foundation within his work as self-produced, detail-driven, and authentic while combining clean melodies with distortion and unexpected textures. As he makes a name for himself in Los Angeles, he demonstrates a creative and technical foundation that allows him to write, produce, and release his music independently.

His debut EP, Scarred/Shining, released in January, consists of four songs revealing the raw emotions and vulnerability of falling in and out of love as it doesn't shy away from the chaos that comes with it, reflecting the contrasting emotions captured in its title. Drawing inspiration from artists such as John Mayer, brakence, and The 1975, Palmer continues to blend introspective songwriting with experimental production as he develops his next body of work.
